4. Legal basis for processing
We rely on one or more of the following grounds recognised under POPIA: your consent; the necessity of processing to conclude or perform a contract with you; compliance with a legal obligation; and our legitimate interest in operating and improving our services, provided this does not unreasonably infringe your rights.
5. Cookies and website data
Our website uses cookies classified as strictly necessary, analytics and marketing. Non-essential cookies are only set once you have given consent via our cookie banner. Full details of the categories used, their purpose and duration are set out in our Cookie Policy.
6. Contact form submissions
When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number and message content. We do not sell personal information. We do not transfer personal information outside South Africa except where a service provider requires it for the purposes set out above and adequate safeguards are in place as required by POPIA.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable law (including record-keeping obligations under financial services and tax legislation), after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.
9. Security measures
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure, including encrypted transmission, restricted access controls and secure hosting environments.
